You will use innovative construction techniques and advanced technical processes such as plasma cutters to ensure that the materials for the job are cut to the tolerances needed to allow fabrication to the highest standards.

Working with aluminium, will need to be at the ‘cutting edge’ of maritime fabrication and boat construction techniques to build a boat through all the stages of marking-out, plate cutting, fabrication, welding and engineering.

As you develop your sheet metal skills, you will become highly desired in the building of light aluminium craft such as dinghies and punts. This can lead to jobs all around Australia, or elsewhere in the world.
