Would you like to use carpentry skills at a very high level? You might like to become a specialist in cabinet making for a whole range of vessels such as large luxury vessels or maxi yachts.

You will construct, install or repair cupboards, shelves, bunks, seating, tables and galleys in the workshop. You will also varnish, hand finish and fit them.

You will develop a sound knowledge of different timbers, joining techniques, varnishes and waterproofing. You may be hand-selecting some of the world’s most expensive timbers and working with commercial designers to make beautiful interiors.

This job requires highly skilled craftsmanship and patience. The rewards of working with finely crafted timber will be proudly displayed in the end results.
