You might be responsible for general maintenance of the marina, working together with other marina personnel to look after customer support facilities. You could organised metered power and water, sell fuel and monitor pump outs.

In some of the larger marinas, you may be responsible for a comprehensive range of on-shore boating services looking after berths and moorings, stock control and inventory, managing the sailing school, yacht hire or charter boats.

It is important to build good customer relations with boat owners through personal service and ensuring that their needs are met. Their safety and security will be a major priority and you will need to monitor security systems to ensure maximum protection of boat owners’ valuable investments.
